This allows users of their popular PunchOut Plugin™ to add ERP integration to the PunchOut process with customers, creating seamless B2B integration between their e-commerce webstore and ERP system, and their customer’s e-procurement and ERP systems, all via the Cloud.

The Vurbis Web API Agent Service is based on the concept of “webhooks” and event triggers, which allows APIs from disparate systems to communicate with each other over the web, non-invasively.

“Many B2B seller’s e-commerce web stores can’t handle much more than basic PunchOut shopping cart transfer”, says Robin Minnaard, Vurbis founder and CEO.

“But when the buyer is sending cXML purchase orders, asking for ship notices and invoices, we can now integrate the seller’s ERP system into the PunchOut process using the Web API Agent service.”

The most common application of the Vurbis Web API Agent service is electronic invoicing, a common request from buying organizations requesting PunchOut from suppliers. Unfortunately, most suppliers fulfill orders in their ERP system, so the Vurbis Web API Agent service allows them to continue to do this while supporting their customer’s PunchOut requirements.

Vurbis Web API Agent Service is compatible with the most popular and widely used ERP platforms in the world, including SAP, Oracle, Sage, Epicor and Microsoft Dynamics / Navision among others.
